The Antonio B. (A.B.) Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA/Authority) is an autonomous instrumentality of the Government of Guam and is the airport operator licensed under the Federal Aviation Administration. The mission of the Authority is to develop and promote competitive international and regional aviation services that ensure the safety and security of the travelling public and supports economic growth for the island community.
A Board of Directors consisting of seven (7) members, that are appointed by the Governor of Guam and confirmed by the Legislature, governs the Authority. An Executive Manager and a Deputy Executive Manager, also appointed by the Governor, manage the day-to-day operations.
Funding for airport operations and Authority staffing is self-generated. Airport revenues include aircraft parking and landing fees, space rentals, and minimum concession for food and beverage, advertising and other tenant operations.
