Wednesday, October 29, 2025Subscribers to guamairport.com are notified of a phishing email from [email protected] with the subject line, “Tenders Invitation to Register as a Potential Supplier/Partner with- GUAM International Airport-Fleet Renewal And Aircraft Upgrade projects” is not legitimate, and is an unsolicited, fraudulent email.
All official emails from the Guam International Airport Authority will indicate the domain address of “@guamairport.net”.
The following guidelines are shared to prevent phishing attacks designed to deceive individuals into disclosing sensitive information such as login credentials, financial data, or personal identifiers. These attacks can result in identity theft, financial compromise, and unauthorized system access.
KEY GUIDELINES TO PREVENTING PHISHING
Identify Suspicious Indicators
- Urgent or emotionally charged messages
- Requests for confidential or financial information
- Misspelled email addresses or domains
- Unfamiliar or shortened URLs
- Poor grammar and formatting
Exercise Caution
- Do not click on links or download attachments from unverified sources
- Independently confirm requests through trusted communication channels
Report and Remove
- Use the designated “Report Phishing” feature or forward suspicious emails to your cybersecurity contact
- Delete the message after reporting; do not engage with its content
