The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) is pleased to announce a new route to be served beginning December 24, 2019.
“Jeju Air Officials have confirmed their launch of new daily direct service between Muan and Guam later this year. This is great news for Guam residents, offering a new destination option to visit and for our tourism economy, now directly connected to Muan Airport serving a catchment area of over 1.9M residents in the Jeollanam-do province of South Korea. Jeju Air is a valued partner with scheduled and charter services to 10 direct destinations. We thank them for the continued partnership in developing our business and tourism industry with their services, stated Executive Manager Tom Ada. “The new air services increases the Airport’s revenue for Fiscal Year 2020. With seat capacity increases from our visitor markets in Japan and Korea, and the new service to Muan, we anticipate added revenue for the fiscal year, and even more cost savings to our airlines,” Mr. Ada concluded.
