Airport Rolls Out New Luggage Carts

The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam is one step closer to enhancing our visitor arrival experience by providing 300 brand new luggage carts in the airport’s arrival lobby. The heavy-duty model carts are more lightweight and maneuverable than the previous model purchased back in 1998 and have ample surface area for advertising and revenue generating opportunities.

Executive Manager Mary C. Torres, along with her management team and staff, inspected the new carts in the arrivals lobby as they were rolled out and staged for use. “This added new feature has been long anticipated by our traveling community and industry partners and we’re glad to have made another step, albeit small, towards continued improvement and upgrade to our facilities” stated Mary C. Torres, adding: “We recognize that these small improvements will make the Guam airport a more pleasant facility for the 2 million plus residents and visitors who arrive, depart and transit through Guam’s airport every year.”
