GIAA Board Thanks Senator Thomas C. Ada For His Leadership as Airport Executive Manager

The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) Board of Directors announces that Executive Manager Thomas C. Ada has submitted his resignation effective June 22, 2020.
Brian J. Bamba, Board Chairman stated “On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and staff, we thank Tom Ada for his valuable leadership in our capital improvement projects, recent bond refinancing and airport related COVID-19 response. We fully support and wish him well in his decision to focus on family and personal pursuits.
The Board of Directors will be working closely with Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and Lt. Governor Joshua Tenorio to appoint a successor and a future announcement will be made in due course. Chairman Bamba continued, “In the interim, John Quinata has been appointed as the Acting Executive Manager. We assure the hardworking employees of the Airport, all stakeholders and industry partners that the mission of the airport will continue seamlessly.”
