Increased Curbside Monitoring
Friday, May 21, 2010
The A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority would like to remind the public that the Airport is still at Threat Level Orange. Recent Terrorist events around the world have prompted the Airport Authority to increase it’s traffic enforcement at our Airport. In the interest of safety and security of our traveling public, we wish to advise the public that parking along the arrivals and departures curbside area is limited to Active Loading and Unloading Only. No vehicles will be allowed to be left parked and unattended.
We encourage the general public to utilize the public parking lot at the basement level of the airport. Airport Police Officers will be highly visible in both the arrival and departure curbside areas enforcing our parking policy. All vehicles left parked and unattended are subject to be cited and/or towed at the operator’s or owner’s expense.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, however, the Staff and Management team of the Airport Authority are working diligently to keep our Airport safe and secured for all those who use our Airport facilities.
If you should have any questions, Please feel free to contact the Duty Supervisor of the Airport Police Division at 646-0308 / 0321 or 642-4530.
