Public Advisory: Fuel Overflow Contained

The visiting public and other users of the A.B Won Pat International Airport, Guam are advised that there may be a strong gas odor on or around the Route 10A area and a portion of the terminal parking apron on the cliffside.
"GIAA continues to work with our environmental consultants, fuel farm contractor, and other interested parties of this contained fuel overflow incident," stated John M.
Quinata, Executive Manager of the GIAA. "We are fully committed to the safety and security of the traveling public, our tenants, and stakeholders of the airport as well as to our environment."
Quinata concluded, "As the cleanup is near complete, we do not foresee any material impact to commercial passenger service at this time."
