AIRPORT BRINGING BACK “TAKE OFF” 5K in 2025

The A.B Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) is happy to announce that they are bringing back the “Take Off” 5K in 2025. In celebration of their 49th anniversary, and Airport Week 2025, the “Take Off” 5K will kick off all 5Ks for 2025 on January 4, 2025 with a new route from the Village of Donki parking lot up towards Capitol Kitchen and back.

The January 4th 5k has a SHOW TIME of 5:00am with a GO TIME of 6:00am that gives ample time to find parking and warm-up with an energetic warm-up crew! All interested participants for the January 4th 5k can register online at http://my.raceresult.com/312196 or at the following QR code:

Register early at the $15.00 rate because race-day registration will be $20.00. The race will begin at 6:00am with T-shirts going out to the first 300 finishers along with refreshments and great raffle prizes!

GIAA’s 5K was always the first 5K of the year until the global pandemic upended all Airport Week celebrations. The Airport is happy to bring this fun “Take Off” 5K walk/run back to the community as a way to start the year with a healthy activity for the entire family to enjoy!
