Airport Employees Attain Awards of Excellence

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, the agency and several employees of the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority attained awards of excellence in several categories at the Governor’s Employee Recognition Program Awards Banquet.

“Outstanding performance by our employees garnered recognition and the Airport was awarded Department of the Year in the medium agency category,” stated Mary Torres, Executive Manager. “We also swooped up two Supervisors and five Employee(s) of the Year Awards, as well as a National Recognition Citation for our Runway Safety Action Program. Our employees are highly deserving of this recognition.”
