Temporary Closure of Stairwell to Accommodate 3rd Floor Construction Preparation

The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) is advising the public to anticipate the closure of our stairwells that lead from the ground floor to the 2nd floor in the coming weeks. The closure on the public side is necessary to allow for construction preparation of our 3rd floor International Arrival Corridor.

The east-side stairwell on the side of the East Ticket Lobby will be closed first and covered with hoarding walls. After that stairwell is prepped and opened up, the west-side stairwell toward, the Central Ticket Lobby (Jeju & United Airlines ticket counters) will be closed and hoarded up. The entire process affecting the stairwell is expected to last until mid-summer.

The Airport Authority will share more information and details at a Stakeholders Meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Airport Terminal Conference Rooms 1 & 2.

The public’s understanding is appreciated as we work to prepare our terminal for great improvements and upgrades!
