Friday, October 8, 2021
The Guam International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA), advises travelers and all other users of the airport terminal of updates to Terminal Entry, Well Wishers, and Arrival Greetings policies in effect for the safety and security of the travel environment and the community.
TERMINAL ENTRY:
Airport patrons, employees on duty, active travelers, and persons providing GIAA- authorized business at the Airport will be allowed entry into the terminal. All persons may access the Terminal at the following entry points, where mandatory thermal screening will be conducted, unless otherwise authorized:
- Basement Level Entry from the Public Parking Lot
- Ground Level/West Ticket Lobby Doors located as you first drive up to the Main Terminal
Well-Wishers/Greeters:
- Five (5) well-wishers per ticketed, departing passenger are allowed entry into the terminal. Effective Monday, October 25, 2021, the TSA Screening Area on the 2nd floor will be strictly limited to ticketed, departing passengers only.
- Greeting of arriving passengers is authorized at the exterior canopy of the terminal. Interior arrival facilities are designated for active, arriving passengers due to quarantine processing
“The Airport Authority thanks all our airlines, tenants, passengers and Airport patrons for their continued support and practice of safety measures during this time,” stated Executive Manager, John M. Quinata. “We appreciate your understanding as we implement processes and revisions given the fluidity of the pandemic.”
