Arrests at Airport
Friday, November 14, 2014Airport Police, in its response to reports of missing property and inquiry into Lost and Found, have uncovered a ring involved in theft of property on Airport premises. Thus far, five (5) arrests have been made.

New $26M Baggage Handling System for Guam Airport
Monday, July 7, 2014A new Baggage handling System (BHS) will greatly improve the experience for passengers traveling through the Guam Airport. the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam will be able to double the capacity of baggage handling and screening while freeing up space in the terminal with a $26 million system that is set for completion by 2016.

Airport Completes Full-Scale Disaster Drill
Thursday, May 22, 2014The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam completed its Triennial Full-Scale Disaster Drill Exercise on Thursday, May 22, 2014. The exercise, which went into play at approximately 8:45 a.m., concluded with after-action discussions and evaluations of responding agencies performance, also known as a “hot wash”. Official medical and law enforcement evaluators and observers from federal and local agencies commented on various aspects of today’s response activities. The overall assessment was that response capability and capacity was adequate to address the scenario that played out as part of the Airport’s Triennual Full- Scale Disaster Drill.
