Monday, December 3, 2018Standard & Poor's (S&P) upgraded the credit rating on the Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam's (GIAA) senior-lien general revenue bonds from BBB to a BBB+ with a stable outlook released on September 27, 2018, and again mentioned in S&Ps "Year-End Update to S&P Global Ratings' U.S. and Canadian Not-for- Profit Transportation Infrastructure Enterprises Criteria Implementation" report issued November 28, 2018.

FAA Gives Guam Airport Perfect Score Three Years In A Row

Brown from the Honolulu Airport District Office has been conducting the annual certification inspection for the A.B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam, (GIAA). Today, he announced his findings to GIAA management. The results? GIAA Responds to Alleged Corporate Espionage by former Lotte Executive and DFS
Tuesday, September 18, 2018September 14, 2018 – “GIAA is aware of recent news reports detailing the criminal indictment of a former Lotte Duty Free executive, Seung-Gyu Lee, who is accused by Korean authorities of revealing Lotte trade secrets to an executive of DFS Group, Andrew Ford, including a copy of the confidential proposal and presentation made to GIAA by Lotte in 2013.

FAA Awards $4.5M for Seismic Upgrades to Support 3rd Floor

"STAY" Granted Pending Appeal, Court Refuses to Expand Relief Sought by DFS
Monday, July 23, 2018July 19, 2018 – Tamuning, Guam – On July 16, 2018, the Superior Court of Guam granted a stay in its February 2018 order that voided the Guam International Airport’s specialty retail concession agreement with Lotte Duty Free, as well as removing a portion of the order that required GIAA to abide by the terms of the voided contract.

Tuesday, February 6, 2018February 5, 2018 – Hagåtña, Guam – After over 4 years of litigation, Judge Arthur Barcinas of the Superior Court of Guam granted summary judgment to plaintiff DFS in DFS Guam L.P. v. A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam. The Court ordered that the duty free concession awarded to Lotte Duty Free Guam in 2013 is void. Today GIAA appealed Judge Barcinas’ rulings to the Guam Supreme Court.
