Won Pat International Airport’s reputation in the region for excellence was recognized for the fourth consecutive year as being selected as achieving the “2021 Top Asia Airport Efficiency Excellence, In the under 10 million passengers per year category,” by the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS), as a result of its 2021 Global Airport Performance Benchmarking Report.

Guam Airport’s Successful Taxable Refunding Boosted by Investor Confidence in Guam
Tuesday, August 3, 2021The A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA)—with the support and backing from the Office of the Governor, the Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA), and the Bureau of Budget and Management Research (BBMR)—will now be able to achieve net present value savings of over $3 million with All in True Interest Cost (TIC) of 4.07%, while reducing FY 2022 debt service payments to $8.1 million—a reduction of $5.6 million—as compared to the prior FY 2021 debt service of $13.7 million.
